UGC-NET June 2024 Exam Cancelled Due to Integrity Concerns!
The UGC-NET exam was conducted using a pen-and-paper format across 1,205 centers nationwide. The decision to cancel the exam was based on information received from government cyber security agencies suggesting irregularities.

A total of 11 lakh candidates had applied for the exam, with over 9 lakh appearing for it on Tuesday. The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducted the exam, has referred the matter to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a thorough investigation. The UGC received information from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C), which operates under the Union Home Ministry.
The UGC-NET exam is conducted twice a year to determine eligibility for Assistant Professor positions and research opportunities in various Indian universities and colleges. The UGC has not yet announced the rescheduled date for the UGC-NET exam. It is expected that further details will be released soon.
