The evening commenced with the welcome of the chief guests by the NCC cadets, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp by the chief guest Smt. Sridevasena Allamraju, IAS and other dignitaries that graced the occasion.
The event was open to both students and their parents. The entire campus was decked up with flags and lights.
The welcome address was rendered by the Hon Director, GpCapt (Retd) D Ramanaiah. Thereafter, the Principal Smt. Sujakutty extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries and read the Annual Report highlighting the achievements of the academic year 2022-23.
Later the Vice Chairman and the Chief Guest addressed the gathering.
The college annual magazine was released by the chief guest, which was followed by the prize distribution. Merit scholarships were awarded to meritorious students in the field of Academic and sports.
The Chief Guest shared some valuable ideas highlighting the role of parents, the significance of family’s support in a persons’ success. She shared some thoughts about the power of pleasant speech and how it can influence others. She gave information on how attitude, belief, creativity and determination could lead to excellence.
Cultural Program comprising of classical dance, classical singing, Garbha dance performance and the theme dance depicting self sufficiency and self dependence were well received by the audience.
