9,000 Anganwadi Jobs Announced: Check Details

A significant job notification is set to be released for women in Telangana. The government has decided to fill the vacant positions of Anganwadi teachers and helpers in Anganwadi centers immediately. It has identified that there are over 9,000 vacant posts in these centers.

Plans are being made to fill these positions as quickly as possible. Once the government approvals are in place, job advertisements will be issued under the supervision of district collectors. Telangana has 35,700 Anganwadi centers. Each center has a teacher and a helper. Many of these positions are vacant due to resignations and promotions of current employees to supervisor roles. The central government has issued new guidelines for filling these vacancies.

Eligibility for Anganwadi Jobs:
According to the new guidelines, candidates for both teacher and helper positions must have at least passed the intermediate level. Previously, the minimum qualification for Anganwadi teacher posts was passing the 10th grade. The age limit is set between 18 and 35 years.

Furthermore, services of employees over the age of 65 cannot be utilized. Fifty percent of the vacancies must be filled through promotions, and this applies to both helper and supervisor positions. Teachers who have completed five years of service will be promoted as per the regulations.

However, since some current helpers do not meet the minimum educational qualifications, the Department of Child Welfare intends to proceed with filling teacher positions in accordance with government decisions.
