The Telangana state government is preparing for a significant recruitment in the electricity department. According to the job calendar, notifications for various positions will be issued in October.
There are over 3,000 vacancies across four electricity companies in the state, with the possibility of this number increasing.

Recruitment Process

Why So Many Vacancies?
- Promotions: Recent large-scale promotions in DISCOM and TRANSCO, with GENCO also set for promotions soon, have created many lower-level vacancies.
- Retirements: Some vacancies have arisen due to retirements.
