Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship 2023 for Sportsperson

Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship and Mentorship Programme for Sportsperson and Individuals aims to provide foundational support to individuals who are deserving & meritorious but lack the resources to pursue their dreams. Along with the financial support, the programme will also focus on mentorship and career guidance to the beneficiaries, as and when required.

Scholarship Benefits:

Financial support of Rs.75,000 per year for 3 years
Mentorship support from the Colgate KIS Program

Eligibility

Must have represented at state/national level in the last 3 years
Must be ranked within the top 500 in the national ranking/ within the top 100 in the state ranking
Must be aged between 9 and 20 years as on 31st August 2022
Annual family income should be less than INR 5 Lakhs
Must be affiliated with a Sports Coach or a recognized Sports Body/Federation/Academy
Playing individual sports such as chess, boxing, athletics, swimming, badminton, cycling, gymnastics, martial arts, powerlifting, running, etc.

Documents Required

Passport-size photograph
Valid ID proof – Any one of Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Voter Id Card
Income Proof – Income certificate/BPL certificate/Food security certificate/Any other certificate of income issued by competent government authority.
Age proof or Class 10 marksheet
Scanned copy of highest and most recent performance -- Certificate of the achievement
Proof of association with sports coach or affiliation to recognized Sports Body/Federation/Academy
