The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG – 2023 will be conducted in 13 mediums across India for admission into the Undergraduate Programmes in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for all the Central Universities (CUs) and participating Universities in India for the academic year 2023-24.

CUET 2023 – Eligibility: The candidates who have passed the class 12/ equivalent examination or are appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (UG) - 2023 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the University / Institution / Organization in which they are desirous of taking admission.

CUET 2023 – Mode of Examination: CUET (UG) - 2023 will completely be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode

CUET 2023 – Medium of Examination: Drawing from the National Education Policy (NEP), the CUET (UG)- 2023 will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

CUET 2023 – Scheme of Examination: Subject combinations for each paper, type of questions in each paper, and mode of examination are given in the table below:

Section 2 - Domain	There are 27 Domains specific subjects being offered under this section. A candidate may choose any subject as desired by the applicable University/ Universities.	35/40 Questions to be attempted out of 45/50.
Section 3 - General Test	For any such undergraduate programme / programmes being offered by Universities where a General Test is being used for admission.	50 Questions to be attempted out of 60
Note: 1. From the above subjects / languages, the candidate can choose maximum of 10 subjects from all three Sections. 2. Examination will be conducted on multiple days in three shifts, depending on the number of Candidates and Subject choices.

Syllabus	Language - Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passages–Factual, Literary and Narrative, and Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary.

CUET 2023 – How to Apply?

Step 1: Registration Form

Register for the Online Application Form and note down the system- generated Application Number. The candidate should supply the required details while filling the Online Application Form and is also required to create PASSWORD and choose Security Question and enter his/her Answer. After successful submission of the personal details, an Application number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and will also be required for all future reference/correspondence. For subsequent logins, the candidate will be able to login directly with the respective system-generated Application Number and created Password.

Step 2: Application Form

The Candidates can log in with the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password for completing the Application Form including filling up personal details, providing the details of educational qualification, university/ programme selection, test paper details, choosing the Examination Cities, and uploading the images and documents (if any)

Upload Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph, Signature, and Category Certificate (if applicable), and PwBD Certificate (wherever applicable)

Step 3: Fee Payment: After completing Step 1 and Step 2, the candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee.

Note: Download, save and print a copy of the Confirmation Page of the Application Form (which would be downloadable only after successful remittance of fee) for future reference.
