After NEET UG 2024 row over paper leak, NEET-PG 2024 has been postponed. The postponement follows recent allegations of irregularities plaguing various competitive exams in India. The National Board of Examination (NBE) specifically flagged concerns about individuals selling the NEET-PG question paper on social media platforms.

Changes in NEET PG 2024 Dates:

  • The original date for NEET PG 2024 was March 3.
  • It was first postponed to July 7, then preponed to June 23.
  • Now, just 12 hours before the exam, it has been postponed again until further notice.

Next Steps:

The Ministry of Health will conduct a comprehensive review of the NEET-PG exam procedures to strengthen their security and integrity. A new date for the rescheduled exam will be announced soon.

The Ministry acknowledges the inconvenience caused to students by the postponement. However, they emphasize that this decision is necessary to uphold the sanctity of the examination and ensure a level playing field for all aspirants.

This postponement comes amidst a series of exam-related controversies. The UGC-NET exam was recently cancelled due to a suspected paper leak, and concerns linger regarding irregularities in the NEET-UG exam.

Protests

Several students expressed dismay over the NEET PG 2024 postponement. Some took to the streets to protest, while others voiced their frustrations online.
