On Friday, the Dr. YSR Health University unveiled the roster of state students who successfully cleared the NEET UG-2023 examination, which is conducted for admissions into MBBS, BDS, and other medical education programs.
Bora Varun Chakraborty emerged as the top-ranked student at the national level, securing a perfect score of 720 out of 720 in NEET. YL Pravardhan Reddy, who secured the 25th position nationwide, claimed the second spot in the state, while V. Harshil Sai, ranked 38th in the country, secured the third position with 711 marks.
Out of the top ten rankers in the state, seven are boys and three are girls. A total of 69,690 individuals from the state applied for the NEET UG examination, out of which 68,578 candidates appeared for the test. Among these candidates, 42,836 successfully qualified. Notably, the qualified candidates comprised 28,471 girls, 14,364 boys, and one transgender individual.
Once the counseling schedule is released by the central government, the university will issue a notification and commence accepting applications.
