Regional Director: 01 Post

UPSC Regional Director Qualification: M.Sc. in Microbiology or M.Sc. in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology or Microbiology or Mycology or M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Soil Science or Agricultural Chemistry or Agronomy or Microbiology or Plant Pathology or Horticulture or Agricultural Extension.

UPSC Regional Director Age: Not exceeding 50 years

Deputy Central Intelligence Officer (Technical) (DCIO/Tech): 10 Posts

UPSC Deputy Central Intelligence Officer Qualification: BE or B.Tech. or B.Sc. (Engg) awarded by a recognised University in the fields of Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Electronics and Telecommunications or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology or Software Engineering or Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers(AMIE) in Electronics and Communications Engineering or Graduate Ship awarded by Associate Membership of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (AMIETE) in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering or Master of Science in Physics with Electronics or Telecommunications or Master of Computer Applications(MCA) after 03 years Bachelor of Science in Physics or Master of Science (Information Technology) or Master of Science (Computer Science) or Master of Science (Software) from a recognised University.

UPSC Deputy Central Intelligence Officer Age: Not exceeding 35 years

Assistant Professor (Chemistry): 01 Post

UPSC Assistant Professor Chemistry Qualification: i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in Chemistry or an equivalent Degree. ii) The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. iii) Candidate with PhD Degree awarded in accordance with the University Grant Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of PhD Degree) Regulation 2009 are exempted from the requirement of NET/SET/SLET. iv) NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for such Masters Programmes in discipline for which NET/SET/SLET is not conducted.

UPSC Assistant Professor Qualification: A first class Master’s degree in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Control & Instrumentation Engineering.

UPSC Assistant Professor Age: Not exceeding 38 years

Assistant Professor (Mathematics): 01 Post

Senior Scientific Officer Grade- II (Electronics): 03 Posts

UPSC Senior Scientific Officer Grade II Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics with specialization in Electronics or BE/ B.Tech. in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication Engineering.

UPSC Senior Scientific Officer Grade II Experience: 02 years

UPSC Senior Scientific Officer Grade II Age: Not exceeding 35 years

Junior Research Officer (Research, Statistics & Analysis): 03 Posts

UPSC Junior Research Officer Qualification: i) Master’s Degree in Statistics or Operation Research or Mathematics or Applied Statistics or Applied Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics. ii) Master’s Degree in Economics or Sociology or Psychology or Commerce with Statistics as one of the subjects at Graduate level or Post Graduate level.

UPSC Junior Research Officer Age: Not exceeding 30 years
