The Union Public Service Commission invites application for the following posts

1. Professor (Control System): 01 Post

Qualification: A PhD Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Control System Engineering/ Embedded System Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Controls & Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical Engineering and experience of ten years of teaching, research and/or industry, out of which at least five years at the level of Assistant Professor/ Reader or equivalent grade.

Experience: 10 years

Age Limit: 50 years

2. Associate Professor (Computer Science): 01 Post

Qualification: i) A PhD Degree with First class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and experience of eight years in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree. OR ii) In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:- (a) First class Master’s Degree in Computer Science.

3. Associate Professor (Electrical Engineering): 01 Post

Qualification: i) A PhD Degree with First class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and experience of eight years in teaching, research and/or industry at level of Lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree OR (ii) In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:-(a) First class Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. b) Significant professional work which can be recognised as equivalent to a PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering and Industrial/ professional experience of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of Lecturer.

4. Associate Professor (Electronics & Communication Engineering): 01 Post

Qualification: i) A PhD Degree with First class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and experience of eight years in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree.

Experience: 08 years

Age Limit: 43 years

5. Associate Professor (Mechanical Engineering): 02 Posts

Qualification: A PhD Degree with First class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience of eight years in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree.

Experience: 08 years

Age Limit: 40 years

6. Associate Professor (Metallurgy/ Production Engineering)

Qualification: A PhD Degree with First class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Metallurgy/ Production Engineering and experience of eight years of teaching, research and/or industry at level of Lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree.

Experience: 08 years

Age Limit: 40 years

7. Tutor: 14 Posts

Qualification: i) Masters’ degree in Nursing from a recognised University or Institute or (ii) B.Sc. Nursing or Post basic B.Sc. Nursing with one year experience in a Nursing College recognised by Indian Nursing Council. (B) Registered as Nurse and Mid-Wife with Central or State Nursing Council.
