APPSC Notification for 190 Assistant Engineers Posts

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission invites application for recruitment to the post of Assistant Engineers in various Engineering Sub Services.

1. Assistant Engineers (Civil)

APPSC Assistant Engineers Civil Qualifications: L.C.E issued by the State Board of Technical Education & Training A.P or any other qualification equivalent thereto which are recognised by the SBTET.

2. Assistant Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical)

APPSC Assistant Engineers Civil/ Mechanical Qualifications: BE Degree (Civil) or B.E Degree (Mechanical) of any University in India established or incorporated by or under an Central Act or an equivalent qualification. OR U.S or LCE or LME or LAE or LSE or DCE Diploma issued by the State Board of Technical Education and Training A.P or any other qualification recognised as equivalent thereto.

3. Assistant Engineer (ENV)

APPSC Assistant Engineer (ENV) Qualifications: A four year Degree in B.E / B.Tech., in Environmental Engineering OR BE/ B.Tech.,/ AMIE (Civil) from any University established by an Act of Government of India OR State Act and recognised by the University Grants Commission and approved by AICTE.

4. Assistant Engineer (Endowment Subordinate Service)

APPSC Assistant Engineer (Endowment Subordinate Service) Qualifications: Diploma in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) issued by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh.

5. Assistant Engineer (PH)

APPSC Assistant Engineer (PH) Qualifications: 1. A Degree in B.E Civil or Mechanical of a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State or Provincial Act or Institution Recognised by UGC or 2. B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree of the Benaras Hindu University or 3. A pass in sections ‘A’ & ‘B’ of the AMIE (India) Civil examination or 4. LCE Diploma or any other equivalent Diploma of any recognized Institute or 5. LME Diploma of any recognized Institute or 6. LSE Diploma awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training

6. Municipal Assistant Engineer (Civil)

APPSC Municipal Assistant Engineer (Civil) Qualifications: L.C.E or its equivalent qualification. or A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering of a university in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or an Institution Recognized by the UGC/AICTE or a pass in Section ‘A’ and ‘B’ of AMIE(India) examination in Civil Engineering.

7. Assistant Engineer (Civil)

APPSC Assistant Engineer (Civil) Qualifications: Must possess a Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree qualification in Civil Engineering of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission/ All India Council for Technical Education or an equivalent qualification.

8. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)

APPSC Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) Qualifications: Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission/ All India Council for Technical Education or an equivalent qualification.

APPSC Assistant Engineer Age Limit: 42 years

APPSC Assistant Engineer Scale of pay: Rs.31,460 - 84,970/-

APPSC Assistant Engineer Processing Fee: Rs.80/-

APPSC Assistant Engineer Examination fee: Rs.250/- (No fee for SC, ST, BC, PH, Ex-Service Men, Families having household supply white card issued by Civil Supplies Department, A.P. Government & Unemployed youth.

Negative Marks: As per G.O. Ms. No.235 Finance (HR-I, Plg & Policy) Dept., Dt.06/12/2016, for each wrong answer will be penalized with 1/3rd of the marks prescribed for the question
