NIT Durgapur Notification 2022 For Faculty Posts

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur invites applications from eligible Indian Citizens possessing consistently good academic record and requisite qualifications and experience for recruitment to following Non-Teaching Posts on direct recruitment basis

1. Technical Assistant: 22 Posts

Qualification: A first class or equivalent Grade in BE/ B.Tech/ MCA in relevant subject. OR A first class Diploma in Engineering in relevant field with excellent academic record.

Age Limit: 30 years

2. Senior Technician: 12 Posts

Qualification: Senior secondary (10+2) with science from a recognised board with at least 60% marks.

Age Limit: 33 years

3. Technician: 25 Posts

Qualification: Senior secondary (10+2) with Science with at least 60% marks. Or Senior secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in appropriate trade.

Age Limit: 27 years

4. Library and Information Assistant: 01 Post

Qualification: A first class Bachelor’s Degree in Science/ Arts/ Commerce and Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science.

Age Limit: 30 years

5. Junior Engineer: 02 Posts

Qualification: A first class BE./ B.Tech in Civil/ Electrical Engineering. OR A first class Diploma in Civil/ Electrical Engineering with excellent academic record.

Age Limit: 30 years

6. SAS Assistant: 01 Post

Qualification: i) A first class Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education. ii) Strong record of participation in sports and drama / music/ films/ painting/ Photography/ journalism event management or other student/ event management activities during college/ University studies.

Age Limit: 30 years

7. Superintendent: 04 Posts

Qualification: i) First Class Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in any discipline Or Master's Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade. ii) Knowledge of Computer applications viz., Word processing, Spread Sheet.

Age Limit: 30 years

8. Personal Assistant: 01 Post

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or its equivalent. Minimum speed of 100 w.p.m. in stenography.

Age Limit: 30 years

9. Senior Assistant: 06 Posts

Qualification: Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet.

Age Limit: 33 years

10. Junior Assistant: 14 Posts

Qualification: Senior secondary (10+2) with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet.

Age Limit: 27 years

11. Lab Attendant: 12 Posts

Qualification: Senior secondary (10+2) in science.

Age Limit: 27 years

12. Office Attendant: 05 Posts

Qualification: Senior secondary (10+2).

Age Limit: 27 years

Application Fee: Rs. 800/- for Lab. Attendant/ Office Attendant Posts and  Rs.1000/- for all other posts. No application fee is required to be paid for SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen and female applicants.
