The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct 17th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode between July, 2023 to August, 2023

CTET July 2023 Eligibility:

Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.

Pass with 50% marks in Intermediate/Equivalent course with two years Diploma in Elementary Education or four years Bachelor of Education or two years Diploma in Education (Special Education). (or) Must have passed Bachelor Degree with 50% marks. Besides this, they should have passed B.Ed or B.Ed Special Education. As per NCTE guidelines, B.Ed candidates are also considered eligible for SGT posts. With this, B.Ed students are also eligible for CTET Paper-1.

Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Education (Special Education) with 50% marks in BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com or four years BA Education/B.Sc. Education. OR Passed four years BA B.Ed/ B.Sc B.Ed with 50% marks (or) Those who have passed BE/B.Tech with 50% marks and are studying B.Ed/ B.Ed (Special Education) are also eligible to apply.

CTET July 2023 Mode of Payment of Fee: By Online-mode (Payment by Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking).

CTET July 2023 Method of Submission of Online Application Form:

  • STEP1: Logon to CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in.
  • STEP 2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.
  • STEP3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
  • STEP 4: Upload latest Scanned Photograph and Signature
  • STEP 5: Pay Examination Fee by debit/credit card and net banking. The candidates must note that the examination city of their choice will be allotted on the first come first served basis only as per availability of capacity in the city of examination. The candidates, who complete the online application process and pay the fee on first come first served basis, will be allotted the examination city of their choice as per availability in that particular city. The total capacity in a particular city will also be available on the portal. If the total capacity of a particular city is full during completion of application process or making payment of examination fee or updating of transaction on portal, the candidate will be given the option either to select any other city of examination or cancel the transaction. If a candidate cancels the transaction, full fee will be refunded to his /her account as per mode of payment and application will not be considered for this examination of CTET. The request for change of examination city will not be accepted in any case.
  • STEP 6: Print Confirmation page for record and future reference

CTET July 2023 Submission of Application:

A candidate can apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test On-line by logging on CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in only.

Before applying online please ensure to have following documents/ files:

Scanned image of latest photograph in JPG/JPEG format only, for uploading
Scanned image of signature in JPG/JPEG format only, for uploading
Decide the mode of payment of fee:

Through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking using on-line gateway payment facility,

a) If decided to pay fee through Debit/Credit Card, check the validity of the Card and keep it ready with you while logging on to website for submitting application form.

b) Once the payment has been confirmed by the Bank/CTET, a confirmation page will be generated.

c) In case, the fee payment status is not “OK‟ the candidates are advised as following:-  If the fee is paid through credit/debit card and status is not OK, it means the transaction is cancelled and the amount will be refunded to concerned credit/debit card within a week. Such candidates have to pay the fee once again. If the fee is paid through net banking and status is not successful, it means the transaction is not completed .Such candidates have to pay the fee.

d) Please note that fee submitted by any other mode like money order, demand draft, IPO etc. will be rejected. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
