More than 1 Lakh Jobs in AP!!
AP State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting was held at the CM camp office on February 7 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. In the meeting, approval was given to the New Energy Park to be set up in Anakapalli district by the central government sector organization NTPC with a huge investment of Rs 1.10 lakh crore, and the Andhra Paper Mills expansion project at Kadiam and the proposals for setting up industries in various sectors.

On this occasion, Chief Minister YS Jagan ordered the authorities to take steps to complete the works and start the activities within the specified time. It has been clarified once again that 75 percent of the jobs should go to the locals as per the law made by the government in every upcoming industry.
These are the proposals approved by SIPB
☛ A New Energy Park is going to be established at Pudimadaka in Anakapalli district under the NTPC. In the first phase, Rs.55 thousand crores will be invested, and in the second phase, another Rs.55 thousand crores will be invested. With a total investment of Rs.1,10,000 crore, 30 thousand people will get jobs in the first phase and 31 thousand people in the second phase. A total of 61 thousand people will be given jobs.
☛ A total investment of Rs.3,400 crores will come through the expansion project of Andhra Paper Mills at Kadiam. 2,100 people will get jobs directly. It is set to be completed by 2025.

☛ Manufacturing of DI Pipes and Ferro Alloys by setting up factories of Electro Steel Casting Limited at Srikalahasti and Punganur. Rs.915.43 crores will be invested in Srikalahasti and Rs.171.96 crores in Punganur. A total investment of Rs.1,087 crore will come. 2,350 people will be directly employed. It has been decided to complete the construction work of the factory by December 2023.
☛ Wind and solar power projects in Kurnool, Nandyala, Anantapur, Sri Satyasai districts. Ecoren Energy India Pvt Ltd will set up these with a capacity of 1000 MW each. 2,000 people will get jobs. A total of Rs.10,500 crore in four phases will be invested. It will be fully prepared by March 2027 in a phased manner.
☛ Accord Group will invest Rs. 10 thousand crores in Ramayapatnam. Manufacturing of copper cathode, copper rod, sulfuric acid, selenium and special minerals will provide direct employment to 2,500 people. The work is scheduled to start in May 2023 and be completed by June 2025.

☛ Wingtech Mobile Communications India Private Limited will invest Rs.1489.23 crores. 15 thousand people will get jobs through the industry set up in Tirupati. This company manufactures telecommunication integration, semi conductor and optical modules.
☛ Avisha and Fuels Company have come forward to manufacture ethanol fuel in Mallavalli Park of Krishna District. A total investment of Rs.498.84 crore will directly and indirectly provide employment to 3,300 people. It has a production capacity of 500 kg liters per day. It has been decided that the work will start in June this year and be completed by next June.
☛ Vizag Tech Park Limited is setting up another 100 MW data center at Kapuluppada in Visakhapatnam. Preparations are underway to start with 10 megawatts in the first phase and reach full scale in three years. 14,825 people directly, 5,625 people indirectly, 20,450 people will get employment through total investment of Rs.7,210 crore. This is in addition to the 200 MW data park already being set up.

☛ SIPB got approval for setting up an IT park in Bhogapuram in an area of 90 acres.
☛ In the wake of YSRCP government's ban on bauxite mining in the state, JSW Aluminum Limited has changed its plans. SIPB has approved the proposal for setting up MSME Park on 985 acres of land acquired from private individuals for the factory.
