Recruitment for 30,000 Teacher Vacancies To Be Completed in Two Months!
Maharashtra's School Education Minister, Deepak Kesarkar, assured on Monday, December 11, that the recruitment of teachers in government schools would be completed within the next two months. This commitment came in response to questions about teacher recruitment posed by Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Jayant Patil and Leader of Opposition Vijay Wadettiwar during the Legislative Assembly's Question Hour.

Deepak Kesarkar stressed that the ongoing recruitment process is advancing as planned and is on track to conclude within the specified two-month timeframe. Additionally, he reported that a survey conducted by the education department revealed that 3,214 children in the state were not attending school, including 1,624 boys and 1,590 girls. Out of this total, 875 boys and 765 girls have already been successfully enrolled in nearby schools.

Meanwhile, a representative from the finance department disclosed that the state currently allocates approximately Rs 63,000 crore for teachers' salaries. This figure is expected to experience a significant increase with the filling of the 30,000 vacancies.
