Andhra Pradesh students triumph at JEE Main 2021
At the national level, a total of 44 people achieved a 100 percentile score, of which 18 were in the top-1. Four of them are from AP. Duggineni Venkata Faneesh, Kanchanapally Rahul Naidu, Karanam Lokesh and Pasala Veera Shiva are in the top-1 list. Varada Mahant Naidu, Satti Karthikeya and Lakshmi Sai Lokesh Reddy are among the national top scorers. Chichili Manasvita Reddy topped the state in the girls' category.

A total of 9.39 lakh people attended
9,39,008 students appeared for the JEE Main exam in four sessions. The highest number of finalists in all four sessions was 7,67,700. 2.52 lakh students appeared for the exam in 4 sessions. They are considered to have a higher score in the respective sessions. As of the results of the third session, there were 36 students who achieved 100 percentile. In the fourth session, 8 students got this score. Merit was confirmed in different tiebreaking procedures for those who achieved the same marks among the top-1 rank achievers. The Maths, Physics and Chemistry departments have the highest scores in a row. This time JEE was conducted in 12 regional languages. Only 270 people wrote the test in Telugu. Most preferred English.
2.5 lakh people opted for JEE Advanced
The top 2.5 lakh people on merit in JEE Main results are eligible for JEE Advanced. IIT Kharagpur has already issued a notification. The main cutoff for JEE Advanced is 87.8992241. This time the cutoff is lower than last year. Advanced exams will be held across the country on October 3.
