JEE Mains Session 1 2025 Notification out| Check Eligibility, Fee Details, How to Apply, Important Date

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 1. This exam is for admission into Undergraduate Engineering Programs (BE/ B.Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other institutions or universities and Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B.Planning courses in the country.

About JEE Main 2025:

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main comprises two papers.

• Paper 1: For admission to BE/ B.Tech programs.
• Paper 2: For admission to B. Arch and B.Planning programs.

JEE Main 2025 Eligibility:

Qualification	Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2022 or 2023
Subjects	Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology as mandatory subjects
Age Limit	There is no specific age limit to appear for JEE Main
Number of Attempts	Candidates can attempt JEE Main for three consecutive years, starting from the year they pass their 10+2 examination
Qualifying Marks	Minimum of 75% aggregate marks in their 10+2 exam (65% for SC/ST) or be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards.

How to Apply for JEE Main Session I 2025 Exam?

Registration	Visit the official NTA JEE Main website www.jeemain.nta.nic.in and register
Fill Application Form	Log in with your credentials, and complete the application form with personal, academic, and contact details
Upload Documents	Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature as per the specified format and size given below
Pay Application Fee	Pay the application fee online through various payment options
Select Exam Preferences	Choose your preferred exam centers and exam dates
Review and Submit	Please double-check your application details before submit
Download Confirmation Page	After successful submission, download the confirmation page and keep it for future reference

JEE Main Exam Schedule 2025

The JEE Main 2024 Exam dates for session 2 have been announced by the NTA. The JEE Main 2024 sessions 2 will be held on 22 January to 31 January 2025. The exam will be held in two shifts- 9 am to 12 pm & 3 pm to 6 pm.
