JEE Mains 2025: Scheme and Pattern of Exam; Check the Changes
The JEE (Main) - 2025 is being conducted in 02 (two) sessions for admissions in the next academic session.
JEE (Main) - 2025 Session 1 for Paper 1 (B.E. / B. Tech.) will be held between 22 January and 31 January 2025 and Session 2 will be held between 01 April and 08 April 2025 tentatively.
Below is the scheme, exam pattern and marking scheme details.

- Each subject has two sections:
- Section A: Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Section B: Numerical value-type questions
- Negative marking applies for incorrect answers in both sections.
- Section B requires candidates to input answers using a virtual numeric keypad.
