The three days of JEE Main Session 2 2025 Exam was completed successfully. From, April 7th ie, from Monday the Main Exam will resume and continue for another three days till April 9th, 2025. The National Testing Agency conducts JEE every year for the students interested in B Tech courses.

The exam held in the starting three days left students in different modes like easy, tough, lengthy and some questions out of syllabus. Now let's know the analysis of the first three days paper of JEE Main Session 2 Exam through the experience of the candidates.

Day 1:

Paper Review

The first day of JEE Main Session 2 was on April 2nd, 2025. The Paper was easy as compared to the previous session exam. Here, few students found the Mathematics paper less lengthy than January session, while physics and chemistry were moderately difficult. Whereas, few students felt Mathematics a bit lengthy as there are majority questions related to Algebra and Geometry few mentioned Physics, Chemistry as easy subjects and no excess time needed. Overall, the paper was moderate.

Day 2:

Exam Review

On the second day of JEE Main Exam students found Chemistry subject as the most easier compared to other two subjects. The remaining two papers.. Physics and Mathematics papers was easy to moderate. In the day 2 exam, candidates experienced mathematics was somehow lengthy with the calculations and few of them expressed the lack of duration.

Syllabus Coverage:

On the day 2 of JEE Main Session 2, majority of the students reaction and experts opinion on syllabus coverage..

Mathematics:

The coverage of mathematics subject included Inverse Trigonometry, Vector & 3D Geometry consisted higher questions, Matrices & Determinants, Binominal Theorem (Rational Term), Quadratic Equation, Sequence & Series, Conic Sections consisting the higher number of questions, Differential Equations stands as Lengthy Calculations, and finally Integration.

Physics:

The majority questions were from Ray Optics, and the other chapters covered was.. Thermodynamics (Adiabatic Change), Magnetic Effect of Current, Gravitation, SHM, Wave Optics, Rotation, Semiconductors (Logic Gates), Modern Physics, Fluid Dynamics, Current Electricity.

Day 3:

Paper Review

On the 3rd day of JEE Main Session 2 exam, candidates expressed the difficulty in mathematics, as they were a bit lengthy and questions were also somehow challenging compared to previous one. When it's Physics and Chemistry turn, it was easier relatively. The Physics section was easy to moderate, with a strong emphasis on numerical and formula-based questions.

Syllabus Coverage

Physics:

The Physics paper covered.. Mechanics, Modern Physics, Electrostatics, Optics, Units & Measurements, AC & Magnetism, Rotation and EMI.. these three tops had less number of questions. Other were, confusing like indirect, most questions were straightforward, and some others were challenging.

JEE Mains 2025 Mathematics: Topic wise Weightage and Strategies to Score High

Chemistry:

The Chemistry covered.. Inorganic Chemistry had the highest weightage, while Physical and Organic Chemistry were moderately represented. Most theoretical questions were directly from NCERT, and Physical Chemistry had fewer numerical questions. Overall, the paper was moderate level as per students opinion.

Mathematics

Mathematics paper covered.. Matrices, 3D Geometry, Vectors, and Conic Sections which consisted significant weightage, while Calculus had comparatively less questions. Here, some questions were lengthy and time-consuming, some others were challenging.
