I want to pursue B. Tech in distance mode. Please provide details of institutes offering the same.
Here are some of the options:
JNTU, Hyderabad
offers B. Tech in Correspondence-Cum-Contact mode for employees working in the State of Andhra Pradesh. The branches offered include ECE, Civil, EEE, Mechanical and Computer Science. The eligibility criterion is diploma in relevant branch of engineering. The applicant must be working in the jurisdiction of the university. The admission is based on performance at entrance test.

Indira Gandhi National Open University, Delhi offers B. Tech in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The eligibility criteria for Civil Engineering are three-year diploma in Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Computer/ Architecture/ Chemical Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic or its equivalent and the candidate should be employed/ self employed in equivalent capacity.

 For Mechanical Engineering, the candidate should have finished three-year Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Agriculture/ Computer/ Civil Engineering or completed at least of first year of B. Tech programme from a recognized university (to apply for credit transfer) or have successfully completed Advanced Diploma/ Diploma in Computer Integrated Manufacturing, and employed in Central or State level industrial organization / Public sector.
