Yogi Vemana University to conduct AP PGCET-21

AP Higher Education Council has handed over the management responsibilities of Andhra Pradesh Post Graduation Common Entrance Test (APPGCET) –2021 to Yogivemana University (YVU) in Kadapa.

For the first time, a Common Entrance Test will be conducted across the state for admissions in 13 universities in the state.

This CET will be conducted for admission in 127 courses like MA, M.Com, M.Sc., Integrated M.Sc., PG Diploma. All universities in the state, PG colleges, affiliated colleges, private, unaided and minority colleges under their purview will conduct PGCET for admission in the first year of PG for 2021–22. Students who have passed the degree and are writing the final semester exams are eligible to apply.

YVU VC as Chairman of AP PGCET
YVU Vice Chancellor Acharya Munagala Suryakalavathi will be the Chairman of AP PGCET-2021 and YVU Physics Professor Y. Nazir Ahmed will be the Convenor. Apart from them, the Vice Chancellors from the SUV, Andhra Universities Region, AP Higher Education Special Chief Secretary and College Education Commissioners will be members. Acharya Suryakalavati said she was happy that the state government had for the first time decided to give admissions to all the universities in the state through a single examination and handed over the management responsibilities to Yogi Vemana Varsity. Convener Acharya Y. Nazir Ahmed said that the details of the date of receipt of applications and examinations will be revealed soon.
