The State Board of Higher Education, OU conducted a joint entrance examination for several PG, PG Diploma and five-year PG courses in seven varsities in the state for the academic year 2021–22 and the seats were filled through online counselling. As many as 6,498 students have been allotted PG seats as part of the last phase of counseling and out of the total convener's quota of 52,927 seats, 27,000 PG seats are remaining vacant under various varsities in the state.
An announcement will be issued soon to fill the remaining seats by the respective colleges through spot admissions. He said no fee reimbursement would be given by the government to students gaining admission in spot admissions conducted by colleges.
