Admissions Criteria:
The MCA program at the following ten NITs—Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Patna, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), and Warangal—along with IIIT Bhopal, is solely based on the Rank obtained in NIMCET-2024.
Eligibility Criteria for NIMCET-2024:
Indian Nationals must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate or a 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or a 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD candidates).
Eligible candidates should have completed either of the following:
- A minimum three-year UG program with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects
- A BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized University/Institution.
Note that conversion of scored marks from CGPA to percentage and vice-versa is not permitted.
Application Processing Fee:
- Rs.2,500/- for OPEN/OPEN-EWS/OBC Category.
- Rs.1,250/- for SC/ST/PwD Category.
NIMCET 2024 Exam Pattern:
The NIMCET 2024 exam will be conducted online as a Computer Based Test.
The question paper will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions based on the prescribed syllabus.
