The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Tests (NEET UG) 2025 for admission to the under graduate medical course in all medical institutions in India.

NEET UG 2025 - Eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually in their 12th standard or equivalent examination.
Minimum Marks: Candidates should secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. For SC, ST, and OBC-NCL candidates, the minimum required marks are 40%.
Age Criteria: The minimum age to appear for NEET UG is 17 years as of December 31, 2025. The upper age limit is 25 years for general candidates, 30 years for OBC-NCL candidates, and 35 years for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.
Number of Attempts: Candidates can attempt NEET UG a maximum of three times in consecutive years.
Resident Status: Candidates must be Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) who have been residing in India for at least 10 years before the date of the exam.
NEET UG 2025 - Fee Details: The application fee for NEET UG 2025 varies based on the category of the candidate:
General: ₹1,700
General - EWS/ OBC-NCL Candidates: ₹1,600
SC/ST/PwBD Candidates: ₹1000
The application fee can be paid online via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI
NEET UG 2025 - Application Process:
Visit the Official Website: Go to the official NEET UG website here.
Register Online: Click on the "Register Online" link and fill in the necessary personal details such as name, date of birth, gender, contact details, and nationality.
Fill the Application Form: Complete the application form with accurate personal and academic information.
Upload Documents: Upload scanned images of required documents, including a recent passport-sized photograph and signature.
Pay the Application Fee: Pay the online application fee as per your category.
Review and Submit: Carefully review all entered details before final submission. After submission, note the application number for future reference.
Correction Window: After the registration deadline, there will be a correction window from March 9 to March 11, 2025, to rectify any mistakes in the application forms.
