The Indian Maritime University (IMU) in Visakhapatnam is inviting applications for Lateral Entry B.Tech Programs for the academic session 2024-25. Here are the details:
IMU Visakhapatnam Admission 2024
B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering - NAOE): 07 seats available for admission to the second year.
B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ship Building - NASB): 06 seats available for admission to the second year.
Eligibility:
4 years Diploma in Ship Building Engineering with at least 60% marks overall and should have completed the diploma within the stipulated period of 4 years AND a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th / 12th examination. Or
3 years Diploma in Mechanical / Civil Engineering from any institute approved by AICTE with at least 60% marks overall and should have completed the diploma within the stipulated period of 3 years AND a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th / 12th examination. Or
3 years Diploma in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering with at least 60% marks overall and should have completed the diploma within the stipulated period of 3 years AND a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th / 12th examination. Or
3 years B.Sc. (Ship Building & Repair) with at least 60% marks overall and should have completed the degree within the stipulated period of 3 years AND a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/ 12th examination.
Age Limit:
For Male: 25 years
For Female: 27 years
Application Fee: Rs.700/- for SC/ ST candidates and Rs.1000/- for all other candidates
