The National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) has announced admissions for its M.Tech. in Science Communication program for the academic session 2025-26.
NCSM M.Tech Science Communication Admission 2025
Program Details: A two-year (four-semester) full-time course conducted at NCSM, Kolkata, in collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.
Eligibility:
M.Sc in any subject (including Museology) with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).
BE/ B.Tech in any subject with the same criteria.
PhD or M.Tech in Science or Engineering
Fellowship: ₹12,000 per month for non-sponsored candidates, along with a contingency grant.
Admission Fee:
Rs.2000/- per candidate belonging to General/ General-EWS/ OBC categories
Rs.1000/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD/Third gender categories
Selection Process: Based on an all-India admission test and an interview. Sponsored candidates may be exempted from the test.
