The DSC exam is expected to span ten days, and the examination schedule has already been meticulously crafted. Moreover, efforts are underway to streamline the application process for the previous notification, with software development underway to seamlessly integrate prior applications. TS DSC 2024 Important Dates:

The fee can be paid online using Credit Card Debit Card / Net-banking service through the payment gateway link to be provided on the website https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in from 04.03.2024 to 02.04.2024.
Submission of application from 04.03.2024 to 03.04.2024.
Dates of examination will be informed later.

11,062 teacher posts

The Education Department has proposed a total of 11,062 teacher posts, securing the necessary approval from the Finance Department. Although the notification was initially planned for release on Wednesday, final touches to the software design have necessitated a slight delay. Last year saw the announcement of 5,089 posts, but with the inclusion of new vacancies, the previous notification has been nullified, necessitating the software's adaptation to accommodate existing applications.

The majority of the vacancies are for Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) positions, with approximately 6,500 positions. The DSC announcement last year garnered a staggering 1,77,502 applications, and authorities are bracing for an even larger influx this time around. The unemployed population, numbering around 4 lakh individuals who have cleared the Teacher Eligibility Test, eagerly await the DSC announcement. Consequently, meticulous attention is being paid to every aspect, from question papers to results, leveraging technology to ensure a smooth process.

Given the crucial role of technology in the examination process, senior officials are diligently reviewing passwords and online security measures. The government has issued directives for vigilant oversight by education department staff, particularly concerning the involvement of private companies in the technology sector. Authorities are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a fair and transparent examination process.
