Telangana Education Minister Sabita Indra Reddy will announce the procedures for filling up the teacher posts soon. A total of 5089 teacher jobs have been announced. Also, recruitment notification will be given for 1523 other posts.
DSC Vacancies List
As per the approval given by the government for 5089 vacancies, there are 2,575 SGT secondary grade teachers,1739 SA School Assistants, 611 Language Pundits, 164 PET posts.
It is known that the TS TET 2023 notification has also been released recently. Marks obtained in this TET will have weightage in DSC as well. Candidates should qualify in both paper-1 and 2. Candidates studying in the final year of the current academic year are also eligible. Online test will be conducted in computer-based mode.
More than four lakh candidates
The state government has conducted three Teacher Eligibility Tests (TETs) since 2016. In 2016 and 2017, more than two lakh people passed the TET. More than two lakh more people have passed the latest TET held in June 2022. More than four lakh people have qualified in the three exams.
