Former Himachal Pradesh CM Virbhadra passes away

Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Virbhadra Singh passed away after prolonged illness. Virbhadra Singh died at the Indira Gandhi medical college Shimla due to multi-organ failure. 87 year old Veerbhdra Singh is the longest-serving chief minister of Himachal Pradesh.
The 87 year-old veteran Congress leader was currently the MLA from Arki in Solan district. Nine-time MLA and five-time MP, Singh was Himachal Pradesh’s chief minister for six terms.
President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed grief on the demise of former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and Former Union Minister Virbhadra Singh.
In Himachal Pradesh, the State Government has declared mourning for three days.
