AP IT Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy Dies

Andhra Pradesh Industries and IT Minister Mekapati Gautham Reddy (50) died suddenly. He died of a heart attack at the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad on Monday morning. Doctors rushed Gautham Reddy to the ICU and provided emergency services but he did not survive. The hospital doctors informed the wife.

Mekapati Gautham Reddy was born on November 2, 1971. He completed his M.Sc. from the University of Manchester, England. Gautham Reddy made his political debut with the 2014 Assembly elections. He contested from Atmakuru constituency of Nellore district for the first time and won. Twice Atmakuru won as an MLA. Mekapati, who had been in Dubai for a week, returned to Hyderabad on Sunday.
