  • The Foreign Ministry of the Sultanate of Oman and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar have both issued strong condemnations of the recent aggression by Israeli occupation forces on Gaza and their incursion into Nablus in the West Bank.
  • Israeli forces bombed a residential apartment in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of three Palestinians and the injury of seven others. The death toll has risen for three consecutive days, with 24 fatalities and 64 injuries, mostly among women and children who have sustained severe injuries.
  • The Sultanate of Oman has called this aggression a violation of international law, Security Council resolutions, and international legitimacy. The Foreign Ministry has appealed to the international community to take immediate and effective measures to deter Israel from such actions. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar has also strongly condemned the Israeli aggression against Gaza, describing it as a new episode in the chain of horrific occupation crimes against the Palestinian people. The Ministry warns of the fading opportunities for peace and the expansion of the cycle of violence due to the provocative Israeli escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
  • Qatar stresses the need for the international community to urgently provide the necessary protection for the Palestinian people and oblige Israel to stop its flagrant violations of international law and respect the decisions of international legitimacy. The Ministry reiterates the firm position of the State of Qatar regarding the justice of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, including the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
