CAPF Exams in 13 local languages; Check details here

Union Home Ministry has taken a crucial decision regarding Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Constable Examination. It has given approval to conduct the exam in 13 other regional languages along with existing Hindi and English.

The Ministry of Home Affairs said that this decision was taken to increase the participation of local youth in CAPFs and promote regional languages.

CAPF Exams in Local Languages From January 1, 2024

With the latest decision, it will be possible to write the exam in Hindi, English, Telugu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Odia, Urdu, Punjabi, Manipuri and Konkani languages. It will come into effect from January 1 next year. The latest announcement came as many demanded to conduct Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) recruitment exams in regional languages as well.

Also Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seemabal (SSB), National Security Guard (NSG) and Assam Rifles will come under the categories. CAPF Constable (GD) is one of the main exams conducted by Staff Selection Commission. Lakhs of candidates attend it from all over the country.
