Vitopia 2024 Kicks Off with Grandeur at VIT-AP University Campus

Vitopia 2024, the annual sports and cultural extravaganza, was launched with immense enthusiasm at the VIT-AP University campus in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh today.This marks the Vitopia, a unique blend of cultural vibrancy and sporting excellence. What sets Vitopia apart is the unparalleled passion and participation it garners from students nationwide, making it a standout event in the sports and cultural festival landscape.

Vitopia's sports festivities are set to run until February 23, with its launch today i.e February 15, 2024. Following the sporting events, a two-day mega cultural extravaganza is set to take place on February 24 and 25, featuring the participation of renowned celebrities from the film and sports industries.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. S.V.Kota Reddy – Vice Chancellor VIT-AP University  emphasized the significance of events like Vitopia in providing a common platform for students from diverse backgrounds to showcase their talents and excel in both sports and cultural activities. The event has attracted over hundreds of students from various universities and colleges across AP and Telangana, converging at VIT-AP University to partake in the festivities.

Dr. Jagadish Chandra, Registrar of VIT-AP University, highlighted the crucial role sports play in shaping students' lives, emphasizing the need for a holistic approach to education that includes both academic and extracurricular activities. Vitopia 2024, he noted, serves as an excellent platform for students to enhance their skills and broaden their horizons through sports.

Dr.Sudhakar Ilango (Convener – Vitopia 24), Dr. Khadeer Pasha (Deputy Director – Student welfare), and Dr. Rama Chandra Rao (Physical Education Director) were present in the program.
