Classes will start from October 1 in all government degree colleges and universities in Andhra Pradesh offering professional, non-professional courses like engineering, BA, B. Sc etc. Special Secretary to the Government Satish Chandra (Department of Higher Education) released GO-242 on Monday. According to Covid, the academic calendar was published in an odd and even way. The orders state that classes should be conducted with due care in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

Reopening of Colleges: October 1, 2021
Classes for 1st, 3rd, 5th semesters: October 1st
► 1st, 3rd, 5th, Semester Internal Examinations: December 1st to December 6th
End of classes: January 22, 2022
► Semester Examinations start: January 24th
Non-professional courses (correct semesters)
Classes of 2, 4, 6 semesters start: February 15, 2022
Internal Examinations: April 4 to 9
End of classes: May 28, 2022
► 2, 4, 6 Semester Examinations: From June 1, 2022
► Community Service Project: 2nd Semester 8 weeks after exams
► Summer Internship / Job Training / Apprenticeship: 8 weeks after 4th semester
