There are 3,65,563 seats available for students in public, private aided, unaided and university degree colleges in the state by 2021–22. Of these, over 3 lakh seats are held by private educational institutions. Seats will be allocated to Andhra Pradesh Higher Education students through online counseling. The Board of Higher Education has issued a notification on September 16 for counseling for degree admissions in the state.
The council has recently started the online counseling process as all these issues have been resolved. Registration of online web options started on October 8. Students can exercise options until October 15. The academy will allocate seats on October 20 on the basis of reservations. Students who have secured seats must report to colleges by October 21st. Classes start from the same day.
