The APPSC Group II Preliminary Examination was successfully conducted with record aspirant participation (87.17%). Aspirants are informed that the Group II Preliminary Results will be released on the basis of 1:50 selection ratio (general cut-off) with no minimum marks respectively.

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission conducted Preliminary Examination (Screening Test) for Recruitment to the posts under Group-II Services (Notification No.11/2023) on 25/02/2024 from 10.30 AM to 01.00 PM. Against 4,83,525 candidates registered for the examination, 4,63,517 downloaded the Hall Tickets and 4,04,037 have appeared for the examination (87.17%).
Initial Key Objections:
APPSC has announced that the primary key for Group-2 prelims exam has been released today. APPSC has notified that he/she may be file objections through the link provided. The objections from the candidates will be accepted from 27/02/2024 to 29/02/2024 for three days through online only. Objections would not be accepted through Post/WhatsApp /SMS/ Phone/Individual submissions, or any other mode and objections received after due date shall not be considered.
APPSC Group-2 Prelims Results and Mains Exam Dates:
- The examination was held at 1327 Venues in 24 Districts of Andhra Pradesh (Except Parvathi Puram Manyam and Alluri Sitaramaraju Districts) peacefully.
- The RESULTS for the Preliminary Exam (Screening Test) will be declared in 5 - 8 weeks.
- The MAIN EXAMINATION will be held during JUNE/JULY 2024.
4,83,525 applications:
The Andhra Pradesh State Public Service Commission (APPSC) has been flooded with applications for its Group 2 recruitment, highlighting the fierce competition for government jobs in the state. With a total of 4,83,525 applications received for just 899 APPSC Group-2 vacancies, aspiring candidates can expect an average of 537 competitors for each post. Earlier, APPSC has announced that Group-2 selection ratio in prelims for mains exam will be 1:50.
The APPSC Group-2 prelims key will be available soon after the exam is over. Please note that the key will be published with the help of subject experts. The preliminary and final answer keys will be released by APPSC officially in a few days after the exam.
