APPSC Group 2 Exam as per Schedule; Refuses to Postpone

Speculation around the postponement of the APPSC Group 2 Mains 2025 exam has raised concerns among candidates. However, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has refused to postpone the exam.

The AP government has officially sent a letter to the APPSC secretary asking to postpone the Group 2 Mains Examination scheduled for February 23, 2025. This decision comes after multiple objections were raised by candidates regarding errors in the roster system.

The state government has sent a formal letter to the APPSC Secretary instructing the delay until the AP High Court reviews the pending petition on this issue. The next hearing is scheduled for March 11, 2025. Until then, the government has requested the commission to withhold conducting the examination. However, APPSC has refused to postpone the exam due to MLC election code. Hence, the exams will be conducted as per schedule.

Earlier, APPSC has issued a notification that a fake news regarding postponement of Group-2 mains exams circulated on social media. However, AP govt. has officially instructed to postpone the exam. The new exam date will be announced later.
