The government has issued GO MS No. 5, handing over the power to declare probation declaration to all collectors who have completed two years and passed the examination. Also, the pay scale of the secretariat employees has been finalized by the AP government. Basic pay for Panchayat Secretary and Ward Secretary is Rs. 23,120 to Rs. 74,770 while the basic pay for other secretariat employees is Rs. 22,460 to Rs. 72,810.
