Conversion of RGUKT CET Marks into GPA for obtaining Admission Merit Ranks

RGUKT has announced to download rank card for admission into RGUKTs for the year 2020-21.
Candidates can download the rank card by entering RGUKT CET hall ticket number and date of birth at http://210.212.217.206:8081/RGUKT/.

Here is the Conversion of RGUKT CET Marks into GPA for obtaining Admission Merit Ranks.

RGUKT CET marks scored by the candidates for each subject (Mathematics 50 M, Physical Science 25M and Biological Science 25M) are scaled to 100 marks and converted into grade points as per the GO MS. No.3 School Education Department dated 09-01-2020. A sample calculation is shown in the tables below :

The grade points so obtained are used to calculate the Grade Point Average by giving 50% weightage to Mathematics, 25% each to Physical Sciences and Biological Sciences. A deprivation score of 0.4 is added to the candidates studied in Government Schools. Merit ranks are arrived from the GPA of the candidates after adding deprivation score. A sample calculation is show below.

GPA = Grade point in Mathematics x 0.5 + Grade point in Physical Sciences x 0.25 + Grade point in Biological Sciences x 0.25.
