TGPSC Group-2 Exam Instructions: Download Sample OMR Sheet PDF

TGPSC has issued important instructions to the candidates for Group-2 services examination issued through hall ticket.

Below are the instructions to the candidates for Group-2 services examination, as issued by TSPSC.

TGPSC Group-2 Instructions

  • Admission to the examination is provisional, based on fulfilling the conditions of Notification No.28/2022 dated 29/12/2022, and meeting eligibility criteria. Verification of certificates will take place later. Appearing for the exam does not guarantee recruitment or selection.

  • Candidates should carry only: (i) Black/Blue Ball Point Pen (ii) Hall Ticket with a photo affixed (iii) A valid original government-issued photo ID (e.g., Passport, Aadhaar, Voter ID).

  • The Hall Ticket is valid only if the candidate's photograph and signature are clear. It must be printed on A4-size paper, preferably using a laser or color printer. A passport-size photo taken within three months should be affixed to the Hall Ticket before arriving at the exam center, failing which the candidate's application may be rejected.

  • The same copy of the downloaded Hall Ticket used for the first session must be used for all subsequent sessions of the examination.

  • If the downloaded Hall Ticket has a blurred or unclear photo, candidates must bring three passport-size photos attested by a Gazetted Officer/Principal and an undertaking (format available on the TSPSC website) to submit to the invigilator.

  • The Hall Ticket must be presented along with an original valid photo ID (in physical form) such as a Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Government Employee ID, or Driving License.

  • Candidates are advised to visit the exam center at least one day prior to familiarize themselves with the location and estimate travel time, especially during peak hours. Exam center changes will not be entertained under any circumstances.

  • Entry to the exam center begins at 8:30 AM for the morning session and 1:30 PM for the afternoon session. Gates will close at 9:30 AM for the morning session and 2:30 PM for the afternoon session. No candidate will be allowed entry after gate closure.

  • Candidates will be allowed to appear for the exam only after their credentials are verified, and they have undergone frisking to ensure no prohibited items are carried into the exam center.

  • Prohibited items such as calculators, pagers, mobile phones, tablets, pen drives, Bluetooth devices, watches, writing pads, jewelry (except essential items like Mangalasuthras and Bangles), or any electronic gadgets are not allowed. Possession of any of these may lead to disqualification. Candidates should wear chappals, not shoes. No storage facility will be provided for personal belongings.

  • Candidates found attempting to bring prohibited items, including electronic gadgets like mobile phones or Bluetooth devices, will be handed over to the police and disqualified from the examination.

  • Biometric verification is mandatory, and no candidate may leave until their biometrics are captured. If biometric capture is unsuccessful, a photo and thumbprint will be taken. Candidates should avoid wearing mehendi or any materials that may obstruct biometric capture.

  • Candidates must sign the Hall Ticket in the presence of the invigilator, who will also countersign. Identity verification will be done using the Hall Ticket, photograph, signature, and a valid photo ID. Impersonation cases will be reported to the police and lead to disqualification.

  • Candidates are advised to practice filling OMR answer sheets by downloading the model from the TSPSC website.

  • Candidates should thoroughly read and follow the instructions on the OMR Answer Sheet and Question Paper Booklet before filling out any details.

  • The candidate must correctly fill in and bubble the Question Paper Booklet number and Paper number on the OMR Answer Sheet. Incorrect bubbling will lead to disqualification.

  • The OMR Answer Sheet provided will contain the candidate’s preprinted details. If there are errors, candidates should notify the invigilator immediately to receive a blank sheet.

  • Candidates must accurately enter the Question Paper Booklet and OMR Answer Sheet numbers in the Nominal Rolls. Incorrect entries will result in disqualification.

  • Question Paper Booklets will be bilingual (English/Telugu or English/Urdu). In case of any ambiguity, the English version will be considered final. Words not found in Telugu/Urdu will be transliterated.

  • Candidates may not leave the exam hall before the end of the exam. The OMR Answer Sheet must be handed over to the invigilator. Criminal prosecution will be initiated if a candidate leaves without submitting their answer sheet. Candidates may take the Question Paper Booklet with them after the exam.

  • Candidates with disabilities who have been granted a scribe or compensatory time must present the SADARAM certificate to the Chief Superintendent. Only those with such permissions noted on their Hall Ticket will be provided a scribe.

  • Communication or consultation with other candidates is strictly prohibited, and disturbances or improper behavior will result in disqualification. Malpractice will lead to prosecution under the Telangana Public Examinations Act, 1997, and permanent debarment from future exams.

  • Any violations of the above instructions may result in disqualification from future TSPSC exams and other Public Service Commissions.

  • Candidates who have applied under the equivalence of qualification are admitted provisionally, pending verification.

  • The candidate should write their Hall Ticket number on the Question Paper Booklet and have it signed by the invigilator.

  • A digital copy of the OMR Answer Sheet will be available in the candidate’s login. The Hall Ticket and Question Paper Booklet must be preserved until the recruitment process is complete.
