Demands to Reduce Telangana TET 2024 Application Fee!

Kachiguda (Hyderabad): R. Krishnaiah, the President of the National BC Welfare Association and a Member of the Rajya Sabha, is urging the government to promptly decrease the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) fee from Rs.2,000 to Rs.200. This significant increase in fees by the state government is causing distress to the unemployed.

In a letter addressed to CM Revanth Reddy on March 27, Krishnaiah emphasized the urgency of this reduction. He highlighted that previously, the TS TET fee stood at Rs.100 per paper or Rs.200 for both papers.

Krishnaiah pointed out that the Congress party's election manifesto pledged to lower fees for entrance and competitive exams. The hike in exam fees is met with strong opposition from the unemployed community, many of whom are already burdened with debts from coaching for various exams.

TET-2024 is scheduled from May 20 to June 3. Applications for the computer-based exam will be accepted from March 27 to April 10.

For DSC-2024, the application deadline has been extended till June 6.
