Chief Secretary Dr. KS Jawahar Reddy ordered the District Collectors to fill these posts quickly. Along with Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena, he held a video conference with the District Collectors on election preparations. Speaking on this occasion, the CS stated that the process of transfer of officers of various departments who have completed three years of service related to the election.

He said that the process of transfers in PR and RD, Excise and Special Enforcement Bureaus has already been completed. He ordered that some transfers were done in the police and revenue departments and the remaining transfers should be completed in one or two days. Similarly, CS Jawahar Reddy ordered that transfers in Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department should be completed within two days. State Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena, who participated in this meeting, said that the Collectors have been instructed to take appropriate measures for the various logistical arrangements related to the upcoming elections.
