India Post 44,228 GDS Recruitment Results 2024: Selection List Released; Check Documents Required

List-I of Shortlisted Candidates for GDS Posts were published by India Post for Circles - Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Tamilnadu, Telangana, West Bengal. The list for other circles too will be released soon.

The Postal GDS (Gramin Dak Sevak) role is a position that is filled solely on the basis of the marks secured in the 10th standard, without any written exam or interview. A recent notification announced the availability of 44,228 Postal GDS vacancies nationwide, for which applications were invited. The candidates who applied have been anxiously anticipating the results, which were released on Monday, August 19th.

• Select your circle and click on selection list
• Complete selected candidates list will be displayed for the selected circle

India Post GDS Recruitment: Selection Process

Candidates selected for these positions will be informed by the postal department according to the merit list. The selected candidates will receive information through SMS, email, and post to the mobile number provided in their application. Additionally, the selection list will be available on the official website. If candidates selected in the first list do not join the positions for any reason, a second list will be released. If vacancies remain after the second list, a third list will be issued, followed by a fourth list if needed. Candidates are shortlisted based on the rule of reservation and marks through a computer-generated programming system.

• 10th-grade marks memo for proof of date of birth
• Study certificates from 6th to 10th grade
• Online application related to the application process
• Disability certificate and medical certificate (if applicable)
• Candidate's passport-sized photographs
• Transfer certificate, caste certificate, Aadhar card, income certificate
