JEE 2022 Schedule to be delayed?

The Union Ministry of Education hopes to make changes in the JEE 2022 schedule in view of the Assembly elections in five states in 2022. In addition to this it seems that the increasing number of corona cases has also been taken into consideration.
JEE 2022 Schedule to be delayed?

JEE Mains and Advanced examinations are conducted for admission in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT) and other national institutions. The schedule is usually announced by this time and the JEE Mains first stage test is scheduled for February. But, as the schedule has not been announced yet, it seems that the JEE process will not be completed till the end of next year. 

The 2019 JEE Schedule was announced on July 7, 2018. The test was conducted in two phases in January and April 2019.
The 2020 exam schedule was announced on August 28, 2019. The first phase was conducted in January, 2020. The second phase of the test, scheduled for April, was held in September due to the corona.

Concern over JEE 2022 Schedule
The 2021 JEE Schedule was announced on December 16, 2020. Many candidates could not attend JEE Main in 2020 due to corona not completing the inter exams as scheduled. With this, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has scheduled the 2021 JEE in four phases in February, March, April and May. The February and March sessions were held as usual but the April and May sessions were delayed due to the corona second wave. The tests were not completed until September 2. Now, students are concerned that the JEE Mains – 2022 schedule has not yet been released.

State EAMCET based on JEE...
So far no resolution has been reached on the management of JEE. There several doubts to be clarified - More delay due to corona... How many stages does the test take? Will there be weightage for inter-marks? EAMCET counseling is conducted in the state especially after the JEE ranks. Those who get JEE ranks are going to central institutions. The vacant engineering seats will have to be filled up again in the state. This is likely to have an impact on the JEE schedule as well as the state as well.
