TG DSC 2024 Jobs Final Selection List to be Released with 1:1 Selection Ratio!

The School Education Department has implemented measures to ensure that candidates are selected for only one position, either School Assistant (SA) or Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT). The recruitment process for the 11,062 teacher posts is currently underway.

DSC Final List with 1:1 Ratio:

In the recently announced DSC results, many candidates were selected for two or more posts, causing complications and leaving some positions unfilled. To avoid this, the department has decided to release the final selection list in a 1:1 ratio, starting with the School Assistant positions.

For SGT Posts:

The list for SGT candidates will be released after the SA list. If a candidate appears in both lists, their name will be removed from one, and the next candidate on the merit list will be placed in their position. The department has already prepared the necessary software for this adjustment.

No TET Marks Required for Special Educator Posts:

This time, 220 School Assistant Special Educator posts and 796 SGT Special Educator posts are to be filled. It is important to note that TET marks are not required for these positions. In April, 62 petitioners filed a case in the High Court regarding this issue. Certificate verification has been completed in 17 districts, but 16 districts are still pending.

Majority of Selected Candidates are Women:

Interestingly, the majority of candidates applying for the teacher posts this time are women. During document verification, it was noted that there were discrepancies in their Aadhaar details, such as different surnames before and after marriage. To address this, DEOs requested that the husbands of the candidates provide a letter confirming their relationship, which was then attached to the official documents.

While the selection process for DSC 2024 is moving forward, there are concerns about fake certificates being submitted during verification, which has raised some worries about the overall recruitment procedure.
