carte blanche. (French) - unlimited authority. Eg. It is not advisable to give carte blanche to any person in power.
ad nauseam (Latin) - to a sickening degree. Eg. He kept talking about his children and their talent ad nauseam.
en masse - on mass scale, in large numbers. Eg. The employees went en masse on leave.
modus operandi (Latin)[మోడుస్ ఓపేరాన్డీ] దినచర్య Method of procedure, method of operating. Eg. His modus operandi is to look for isolated houses with old residents and rob them.
sine die (Latin) - indefinitely Eg. The speaker prorogued (ended) the Parliament sine die.
tsunami (Japanese)- A huge tidal wave caused due to severe earthquake, esp., in the sea. Eg. India was hit by a Tsunami on 26 December 2004. People thronged to the banks like a Tsunami when the demonetization was announced in Dec 2016.
vendetta (Italian) - a prolonged bitter quarrel with or campaign against someone. Eg. Pakistan will never stop its vendetta against India on the pretext of suppression in Kashmir.
