New Roster System
It is known that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has made it clear that a total of 80,000 jobs will be recruited directly. The state general administration, however, clarified the ambiguity over how the appointments would be made. The new zonal policy came into force in the state from August 2018. Presidential orders to this effect have also been issued.
The government has expedited action on the filling of job vacancies in the wake of the latest Chief Minister’s announcement. As part of this, the state government's chief secretary Somesh Kumar has issued orders that the new roster will be the basis for new job appointments. Although the orders were issued on March 19, the government issued them on March 23 (Wednesday).

The roster (reservation schedule) plays a key role in the implementation of reservations in relation to government employment. The government has prepared a table with roster points as part of the process of doing justice to all communities. The serial number ranges from one to one hundred and the reservations are arranged in order of priority - General, General Women, SC, ST Women, ST, ST Women, BC, BC Women, Disabled, Disabled Women categories. With the latest EWS reservations also coming into effect, EWS General and EWS Women reservations will be fixed at roster points.

Reservations also...
After the completion of the allocation of employees in government departments the surplus vacancies were allocated to the new districts equally on a population basis. Allocations were made in this order on the same basis as reservations. Elsewhere backlog job vacancies have not been filled and they have been relegated to the carry forward category. The government has recently clarified that these jobs should also be distributed according to the new district units. The roster should also be followed in promotions of government employees. GAD clarified that a special committee set up by the department should fully fulfill these responsibilities without interfering with the roster points in the matter of promotions to SCs and STs.
30,453 jobs in the first phase...
The Finance Ministry has given nod to fill 30,453 jobs in the first phase. Vacancies in other departments will soon be discussed with Finance Minister Harish Rao, ministers of the respective departments, officials of the respective departments, Finance Ministry officials and other posts will be cleared by the Finance Ministry.
Group 1 Notification for the first time ..
For the first time, Group-1 jobs are being recruited with a large number of vacancies. Most of the fresh recruitments to be made by the state government are for police jobs. The government has sanctioned 17,003 jobs in four categories in the police department, 12,735 jobs in three categories in the medical and health departments and 212 jobs in the transport department.
