GREAT Scholarships 2024 for Indian Students

GREAT Scholarships offers postgraduate students the opportunity to receive £10,000 towards their tuition fees for a wide range of one-year taught postgraduate courses in the academic year 2024-25 at universities across the UK.

For the academic year 2024-25, postgraduate scholarships are available to students from India at the following institutions.

Participating UK Universities: For the academic year 2024-25 there are postgraduate scholarships available at the following institutions:

  1. Anglia Ruskin University 
  2. Aston University 
  3. Guildhall school of Music and Drama
  4. Hartpury University 
  5. JCA London Fashion Academy
  6. Norwich University of Arts 
  7. Robert Gordon University 
  8. Royal College of Art 
  9. Royal Northern College of Music 
  10. Sheffield Hallam University
  11. Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance 
  12. University College London 
  13. University of Bath 
  14. University of Birmingham
  15. University of Chichester
  16. University of Kent 
  17. University of Nottingham
  18. University of St Andrews 

Participating UK Universities for Justice and Law Scholarships: For the academic year 2024-25 there are scholarships available at the following institutions for Justice and Law

  • Queen's University Belfast 
  • University of Bristol 

Participating UK Universities for Science and Technology: For the academic year 2024-25 there are scholarships available at the following institutions for Science and Technology

  1. University of Derby 
  2. University of East Anglia
  3. University of Glasgow 
  4. University of the West of England

Eligibility:

  • A citizen of India
  • Undergraduate degree, be motivated, and have an interest in the proposed subject area
  • Meet the English language requirement of the UK HEI
  • Establish an engagement with the UK as a scholar, through personal and academic fulfillment
  • Be willing to attend a networking event of all UK based GREAT scholars, to discuss experiences and capture perceptions of studying in the UK
  • Be willing to maintain contact with the British Council and their HEI and act as an ambassador for the GREAT Scholarships
  • As an alumnus of the GREAT Scholarships, be willing occasionally to speak to potential candidates about his or her own experience of studying in the UK.

  • Apply for individual scholarships following the instructions given on each universities scholarship web pages.
  • The deadline to apply for a GREAT Scholarship varies according to each institution. For details on individual institutions deadlines please see the institutions page.
  • Successful scholars will be informed by individual universities on the result of their applications.
  • Scholarship funding will be issued to successful scholars by individual universities after registration
