The SBIF Asha Scholarship Program is an initiative of the SBI Foundation, a philanthropic arm of the State Bank of India. It falls under the Foundation's education vertical, the Integrated Learning Mission (ILM). The program's goal is to offer financial assistance to IIT Students deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds across India, enabling them to continue their education without interruption.
Scholarship for IIT Students
Eligibility Criteria:
Citizenship: Applicants must be Indian nationals.
IIT Students Enrollment: Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate course (any year) from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in India.
Academic Performance: Students must have achieved a minimum of 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
Family Income: The gross annual family income of applicants should not exceed INR 6,00,000.
Preference and Reservations:
Family Income: Preference will be given to students with a family income of up to INR 3,00,000 per annum.
Gender: 50% of the slots are reserved for female applicants.
Reservation: Preference will be given to students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories.
Scholarship Amount: Rs.2,00,000/-

Marksheet from the previous academic year (IIT Students as applicable)
Government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card)
Current year fee receipt
Proof of current year admission (Admission letter/institution identity card/bonafide certificate)
Bank account details of the applicant (or parent)
Proof of income (Form 16A/income certificate from a government authority/salary slips, etc.)
Photograph of the applicant
Caste certificate (wherever applicable)
