The SBIF Asha Scholarship Program is a financial aid initiative established by the SBI Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the State Bank of India. It's part of the Foundation's Integrated Learning Mission (ILM) and aims to help deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds across India continue their MBA/ PGDM studies.
SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for IIM Students
Award:
MBA Students from IIMs: Up to INR 7,50,000
Eligibility Criteria: Indian Citizenship: Applicants must be Indian nationals.
MBA/PGDM Enrollment: Applicants should be currently pursuing an MBA or PGDM program (any year) at an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in India.
Academic Performance: Students must have achieved a minimum of 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
Family Income: The gross annual family income of applicants should not exceed INR 6,00,000.
Preference and Reservations:
Family Income: Preference will be given to students with a family income of up to INR 3,00,000 per annum.
Gender: 50% of the slots are reserved for female applicants.
Reservation: Preference will be given to students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories.
Required Documents:
Marksheet from the previous academic year (Class 12/Graduation/Postgraduation, as applicable)
Government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card)
Current year fee receipt
Proof of current year admission (Admission letter/institution identity card/bonafide certificate)
Bank account details of the applicant (or parent)
Proof of income (Form 16A/income certificate from a government authority/salary slips, etc.)
Photograph of the applicant
Caste certificate (wherever applicable)
